Yolan Cris fashion show at Barcelona Bridal Week 2017.
Yesterday was held the Yolan Cris fashion show at Barcelona Bridal Week, where we could see the new bridal trends the two sisters propose for the upcoming brides 2017.
The collection is divided into 2 lines.
A prêt-à-Couture 70's inspired bridal line, casual-style which reflects a bohemian elegance, where every single wedding dress exudes craftmanship. Emphasising quality hand stitching and overlapping of the most beautiful silk lace embroidery on pure white sheer silk tulle.
In this line we can perceive the boho and free-spirited essence so common in Yolan Cris's ID.
That Yolan Cris CHIC style is understood as iconic and timeless.
The sencond line is the Couture one. Wedding dresses made of the best European fabrics as
delicate chantilly lace and fine silk guipure blended with the richness of organdis and fine hand embroidered lace, with silver reflections. We've seen a clear innovation regarding the silhouettes.
HOT BRIDAL TRENDS
YOLAN CRIS BRIDAL TRENDS 2017
70's / Seventies as the main inspiration.
COWBOY FRINGES / Long ivory silk fringes. Boho folk with new cowboy trend.
PATCHWORK / Patchwork as main couture technique, recovering the craftsmanship that marked that era. We include handmade patchworks applying a pleated soleil made by artisans from Barcelona as an innovation in bridal fashion.
OVERSIZE COAT / Mixing silk organzas and feathers and fur coat effect. A classic for the boho style.
DUE-TONE / Whiter silk brightness with flower pattern on fine silk tulle in nude shades.
2-PIECE / Lace loop blouses and teardrop neckline combined with country western skirts and front center slit skirts in a 70's style.
SILVER SIREN / Mermaid wedding dresses with geometric pattern inspired by orientalism. Long sleeves and fine silver beaded gowns.
POETIC TULLE / Silk tulle creates new charming silhuettes. Yolan Cris places it on the outside of the wedding dress searching for the highest expression of femininity for a XXI century woman.
TOTAL LOOK NUDE / To emphasize this "from the inside to the outside" trend, sisters Yolanda and Cristina have made one-colored wedding dresses, choosing nude color as a symbol of sensuality and elegance, mixing different fabrics and textures such as chantilly and lace silk tulle so as to create a line of lingerie-inspired wedding dresses as a trend for 2017.
