Silvana and Tim's fairytale wedding

24 of May, 2016
Being invited to a wedding abroad is an amazing experience. The quintessential cultural experience, and a peek into the traditions and festivities of a local culture. For Tim and Silvana's fellows, was no an exception. They were witness of their idyllic fairytale wedding.

Silvana and Tim met in Holland many years ago, but they began dating when she came back to study her career. Tim proposed her to marry him on the shores of the Atitlán lake in Guatemala, and they started this fairytale adventure with the best happy ending possible.
The couple are both nature lovers, that's why they decided to get married outdoors, under a huge tree beautifully decorated with lots of hanging flowers. The wedding took place at "Casa Hacienda Queirolo", an amazing ranch on the outskirts of Lima, Pachacamac district.

Silvana decided on the Aris style by Yolan Cris, a very elegant wedding dress made of lace bodice and a pleated tulle skirt, accessorized with a large sheer veil she purchased at 'I Do, I Do', our exclusive stockist in Amsterdam.

We love everything of this wedding, especially the sunset light. The entire landscape takes on a surreal saffron, orange and violet hue as the clouds reflect.

A real fairytale wedding!
