We are huge fans of laid-back weddings with gorgeous destinations and stylish bride and groom! We are showing you Emily & Pete's joyful day with images (captured by Will Patrick Weddings) that make us wish we had been there!
Villa Catignano was a venue that they chose because they could fit everyone staying with a gorgeous Italian garden, a maze, neoclassical statues and stunning views. They loved the rustic charm and vintage glamour with the crumbling stone farmhouses next to the gran terracotta villa. The newly-weds also felt that the DIY decoration could fit very well in this atmosphere and the food trucks - which in Italy were somehow hard to find! -.
I wore a YolanCris Boho Fresa dress, a great designer for weddings in hotter climates as their style is floaty and light with lots of details and handmade work, which makes them very unique and precious! I got my dress in London Bride Couture.
For the groomsmen, they key was the orange touch of the bow ties and the bouquets, making everything go together but not too matchy matchy!
We are in love with the sunny clime of their wedding and their do-it-yourself young atmosphere that did not lose any touch of La Dolce Vita Italian glamour!
