My Italian wedding. Nat & Nico

My Italian wedding. Nat & Nico

A breath-taking rehearsal dinner and the most stunning grand finale, this wedding is one for the books. Well, that is quite expected in the stunning wilds of Italy, full of panoramic views and feting under the stars at the hands of Weddings in Tuscany by Chiara Sernesi, live vicariously through and Ether and Smith 's gorgeous photographs.

From the Bride...

"I met Nico 8 years ago, in our last year of university in London. For some reason we had never crossed paths, but in one chance encounter everything changed, and we've been inseparable ever since."

Nico and Nat have been living in 6 different countries, so it was quite hard to choose a location, with people gathering from all over the world. They finally fell in love with the Tuscany (Italy), since it had a special place in their hearts. Vino, cypress-lined country roads, medieval villages and comfort cuisine were still in their memories.

"I woke up on our wedding day and ran to the window, to my delight, the sky was clear blue, the sun was shining, and it would complement my dress". Emma and Allen, our photographers, were very kind at finding amazing backdrops and made the shooting so much fun!"

The ceremony was held on a hill, overlooking a scenic Tuscan panoramic view, followed by an al fresco dinner under the stars.

Nat picked a gold Llunas ballgown from the Orchid Couture Collection made of the finest Italian lace and sequins. The v-neckline and the low back allowed her to feel free but modest during the ceremony. She complemented it with a plain tulle and veil with hand-applied and carried pale blush and cream-coloured roses
