Rosalía won two of the five prizes she was nominated for: best alternative song and best fusion/urban interpretation. The big entrance and the red carpet strut, she did it wrapped in meters and meters of pastel pink pleated tulle, with a low cut neckline and open back, and a spectacular tail.
The design was made especially for the artist and for the occasion, based on a dress of the SS19 collection presented at the Paris fashion week last September. "Our mission is to work for the glory of another person, forgetting what's trendy at that moment ... It is for her and she is who must shine, not my ego" affirms Yolanda, designer and creative director of the brand, about Rosalía and the chance to dress her for such an important event in her career.
However, it was not the first time the artist attended the Latin Grammys. In 2017, still an upcoming artist, she was invited to participate in the tribute to Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, whose performance was one of the surprises of the night. And it was not the first time she dressed Yolancris either. For the occasion she chose a mermaid silhouette dress made in a nude French lace embroidered with guipure flowers in 3D.
