Yolancris is committed to its more social role by supporting Adopta un abuelo to convey affection to many elderly people who are going to spend these Holidays alone.

In Spain there are 360,000 elders who live in residences and many of them are going to spend this Christmas alone or away from their loved ones. The loneliness of the elderly is a reality that, unfortunately, is on the rise.

Christmas is always very special. Without a doubt, these are going to be especially so: restrictions, safety distance and masks. Accessories and trends of 2020 that are absolutely necessary.

For this reason, Yolancris has joined the campaign launched by the Adopta un abuelo organization. An organization born in 2013, almost by chance, in one of those weekly visits that Alberto Cabanes made to his grandfather. An act of love that, to this day, has made this project become a social movement, which reaches more than 50 cities in Spain and which, furthermore, is being a reference for social entrepreneurship at an international level.

Although we cannot give hugs, new technologies offer us possibilities to be present. Through this platform, anyone can send a letter to these grandparents. A beautiful and simple way to comfort them and make them feel that this Christmas they will not be alone. In less than two weeks, more than 100,000 letters were received and are being distributed by the organization team. Adopta un abuelo provides the virtual desktop. Yolancris provides masks. And there are already some Spanish actresses and influencers who have joined this initiative. Now it’s your turn to join this trend full of love and social responsibility.
